Hollywood actor, Burt Reynolds, has died at the age of 82.
The incredible actor was known for being a Hollywood heartthrob in the 1970s when he appeared in films such as Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit and later in 1997’s Boogie Nights.
The Hollywood star reportedly passed away in a Florida hospital following a heart attack.
The actor was surrounded by family at his time of death.
His niece told BBC: “My uncle was not just a movie icon, he was a generous, passionate and sensitive man who was dedicated to his family, friends, fans and acting students. He has had health issues, however, this was totally unexpected.”
“I want to thank all of his amazing fans who have always supported and cheered him on, through all of the hills and valleys of his life and career,” she finished.
