Hilary Swank marries Philip Schneider in secret woodland wedding

Hilary Swank has married Philip Schneider in a secret woodland wedding.

The couple started dating in 2014 and got engaged in 2016, when Philip proposed to the actress on front of a romantic waterfall.

Hilary wore a Elie Saab Couture wedding dress with 25 meters of Chantilly lace for the big day.

The gown took 150 hours to make, with 70 of those hours being spent on the embroidery of the dress.

Actor, Misha Collins, wrote a heartfelt poem for the special occasion and the ceremony took place under incredible 800-year-old trees.

Hilary’s best friend and fellow actress, Mariska Hargitay, was her made of honour, while Philip chose his father to be his best man.

Speaking of the rustic wedding, Hilary told Vogue: “It was timeless. There is just no other way to describe it. I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true.”

The wedding reception took place in a picturesque barn with hundreds of fairy lights illuminating the area.
