Disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein has officially been expelled from The Academy of Motion Pictures.
The Hollywood producer behind Miramax Films and The Weinstein Company, has already been pushed out of BAFTA and now The Oscars have released a statement.
The Academy specified that they were not just expelling him to “separate” themselves after multiple allegations is sexual abuse and harassment, but more so to make a stand against this type of behaviour.
