Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her marriage to Brad Falchuk.

The couple tied the knot last weekend in an intimate ceremony at the Hamptons.

The 46-year-old admitted that she never planned to get married since her split from Chris Martin in 2016, but once she found Brad, she felt that marriage was the next step.

“I think that marriage is a really beautiful, noble and worthwhile institution, pursuit and endeavour,” the actress told Marie Claire.

“Because I don’t think you get married and that’s it, I think it’s the beginning. You create this third entity, this third being that you have to nourish and look after,” she continued.

“For a while, I thought, I don’t know if I’d ever do it again. I have my kids, what’s the point? And then I met this incredible man, who made me think, no, this person is worth making this commitment to. I’m very much the marrying kind,” the mother-of-two said.

“I love being a wife, I love making a home,” she added.

Gwyneth also thanked ex-boyfriend, Brad Pitt, for standing up to Harvey Weinstein following alleged sexual misconduct.

The actress alleged that the producer put his hands on her and tried to convince her to come into his hotel room for massages when she was 22-years-old.

Gwyneth was dating Brad Pitt at the time and claimed that when she told Brad about the incident, he confronted Harvey.

“I am so grateful to Brad, because he leveraged his power and fame to protect me, when I was no one, and he scared Harvey and if it hadn’t been for him, I don’t know if I’d have gotten fired, or what. But instead, Harvey was like, ‘OK, let’s put it behind us’. “I think he wanted to keep Brad on side,” she said.
