It appears George Clooney’s motorcycle incident was more serious than we thought, as the actor was reportedly thrown 20 feet in the air.

Sources have told TMZ that George was doing 60 MPH when a car suddenly pulled in front of him.

The 57-year-old was reportedly thrown from his bike, and his helmet struck the car’s windshield, causing it to shatter.

The Hollywood star was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, but thankfully he didn’t sustain any serious injuries.

The accident took place in Sardinia, where he’s currently filming his latest TV series, Catch-22.

George plays US Air Force commander Scheisskopf in the World War Two Channel 4 drama, based on Joseph Heller’s classic novel.

The six-part drama is set to air in 2019.
