George Clooney has defended his friend Meghan Markle once again.

The actor previously spoke out about how the Duchess was being “vilified” in the press – and compared it to how Princess Diana was treated before her untimely death in 1997.

The 57-year-old appeared on Good Morning Britain today, and once again addressed how his friend has been treated.

He said: “I think it’s a little unfair at times. I’ve seen it when the press can turn on you for ridiculous reasons and almost nothing, and it seemed to be a little unjust since she hasn’t done anything.”

The actor continued to praise his friend and her husband Prince Harry by saying, “She’s just living her life, she’s a really kind and smart, intelligent young woman and they’re a wonderful, loving couple.”

George and his wife Amal attended Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in May, 2018.

The couple are close friends with Meghan, and Amal recently attended the Duchess’ star-studded baby shower in New York.
