Last night the American Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theatre Los Angeles, which saw a host of musicians come together to celebrate their achievements.
Naturally, mixing celebs with live TV, the AMA ceremony, which was hosted by Ciara, saw some very awkward moments.
From Halsey taking swipes at the Grammys to Taylor Swift subtly shading Scooter Braun there was already drama on the night.
But the one that Twitter won’t let go of, is Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s awkward as hell award acceptance.
From the moment they won, to their duet, fans couldn’t help but notice something was amiss.
The couple were heading to the stage to accept their award for Collaboration of the Year when Camila tried to plant a kiss on her beau.

But instead, the singer brushed off the kiss and went in for a hug.
The moment between the pair was so awkward, that fans even accused the pair of faking their chemistry, and even their relationship.
