Fans spot hidden Game of Thrones meaning in Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ baby name

The couple welcomed their first child last week

Game of Thrones fans have spotted a hidden meaning behind Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ new baby name.

The Jonas Brothers star and the Games of Thrones actress welcomed a baby girl named Willa on Wednesday, according to TMZ.

Eagle-eyed fans of the fantasy series have since pointed out that the name Willa was mentioned in early episodes of GOT.

As pointed out by a fan, Season 1 of the hit show sees Ned Stark tell Robert Baratheon that Jon Snow’s mother was called Wylla.

The name appears a second time in season 5, as the name of a little Wildling girl who was evacuated from her home at Hardhome.

Joe Jonas has reportedly been very hands on with his new daughter, and is trying to do “everything he can” to help out now that they’re home from the hospital.

An insider told Bang Showbiz: “They are home and getting settled. Joe is very hands on and involved.”

The new parents tied the knot in May 2019, and have remained silent about Sophie’s pregnancy – although her growing baby bump has been spotted on public outings.

During the latest episode of #GossChats, social media star and TV presenter James Patrice addresses the recent cancellation of Dancing With The Stars, being single during lockdown and creating viral hits with his family.

Goss Chats is sponsored by top aesthetic clinic Haus of JeJuve.
