Randy Jackson is one of the most successful record producers around and worth an estimated $40million.
But the former American Idol judge is making sure his children learn the importance of giving back.
Randy chatted to LAGoss.com at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital Kaleidoscope Ball on Saturday, where he revealed what he is teaching his kids about charity.
“You’ve got to want to give back, you’ve got to give back,” he said when asked what lessons he is passing on to his son and daughters. “You’ve got to do all you can, with anything that you can, to help others.”
Randy shares daughter Zoe, 21, and son Jordan, 19, with Erika Riker and also has an older daughter named Taylor from his first marriage to Elizabeth Jackson.
Meanwhile fans are hoping to see Randy back on screens in the near future amid reports that ABC has a deal in place to reboot American Idol.
The star recently told TMZ that “of course” he would be up for returning to the show, and also revealed to Fox 5: “I would consider it. It would be nice to get the old crew back together.”
