Everything you need to know about the 2021 MTV EMAs

The 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards take place tonight (November 14).

The annual awards show celebrates the best music of the year and the biggest artists from across the globe.

It will be held at the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, Hungary, and will be hosted by rapper Saweetie.

The 29-year-old will perform her tracks ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Back to the Streets’ from her upcoming debut album Pretty Bitch Music on the night.

Ed Sheeran, Maluma, girl in red, Kim Petras, MÃ¥neskin, YUNGBLUD, Griff, OneRepublic and Imagine Dragons will also perform at the star-studded event, which will be held in-person.

Justin Bieber has received a whopping eight nominations at this year’s EMAs, including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Best Song.

Doja Cat and Lil Nas X have each received six nods, while Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo and The Kid Laroi are all up for five awards.

The show kicks off on MTV at 8pm GMT and ahead of the show, Goss.ie will be sharing their favourite red carpet looks via Twitter and Instagram – so make sure you’re following us!
