Ellen DeGeneres reveals she’s tested positive for Covid-19

Ellen DeGeneres has revealed she’s tested positive for Covid-19.

The 62-year-old confirmed the news in a statement shared on social media, and said her close contacts have been notified.

She wrote: “Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now.”

“Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay safe and healthy.”

According to CNN, The Ellen DeGeneres Show has halted production, and will return with new episodes in January 2021.

The comedian started filming the 18th season of her talk show back in September, and finally addressed those “toxic workplace” allegations.

Ellen spoke out after a number of her current and former staff members claimed they were subject to a “toxic work environment” while working on the show.

The controversy sparked an internal investigation by WarnerMedia, which resulted in the firing of her show’s top producers – Ed Glavin, Kevin Leman and Jonathan Norman.
