Ellen DeGeneres apologises to Jenna Dewan for calling her Tatum

Ellen DeGeneres has apologised to Jenna Dewan for using her old married name, Tatum.

The TV host introduced Jenna along with Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and Ne-Yo to the show, however, Ellen said Jenna Dewan Tatum instead of the name she’s been using since her separation, Jenna Dewan.

The actress announced her split from ex-husband Channing Tatum at the beginning of April, posting statements on Instagram to inform their fans of the sad news.

“I’m so sorry. I introduced you, and it was just such a habit,” Ellen said.

The TV host also said that the way the couple handled their split was beautiful and that the statements from the pair have been great.

“I just have known both of you for so long, and I’m so used to saying it,” Ellen said.
