Dylan Farrow to discuss sexual assault allegation against father Woody Allen in TV interview

She has accused her adoptive father, who is a famous filmmaker, of sexual abuse

Dylan Farrow will appear in a television interview to discuss her sexual assault allegation against her adoptive father Woody Allen.

In her first television interview on CBS, Dylan will open up to co-host Gayle King about her allegations of childhood sexual abuse by famed Hollywood director Woody Allen, who has denied the claims.

Dylan sat down for the interview after she used an article in The Los Angeles Times to question why Woody has been spared by the “revolution” that ended disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein.

“I am credible, and I am telling the truth, and I think it’s important that people realise that one victim, one accuser, matters. And that they are enough to change things,” Dylan said in the interview.

The 82-year-old film maker was investigated over claims that he molested his adoptive daughter Dylan in an attic in 1992 when she was seven, but he was not charged.

The news comes as a number of people in Hollywood have distanced themselves from the critically-acclaimed director.

Earlier this week, Timothée Chalamet said that he did not want to profit from his role in Woody’s latest film A Rainy Day In New York, and would instead donate his salary to three charities, including Time’s Up.

And days before that, Rebecca Hall, who also starred in the film, announced that she would be donating her salary to Time’s Up.

Dylan’s full interview will air on CBS This Morning later today.
