Canadian rapper Drake has revealed in an in-depth interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he will be taking a break from music, and focusing on breaking into Hollywood.
The Hotline Bling singer sat down with The Hollywood Reporter team and opened up about his humble beginnings and his eight year chart topping success in the music industry.
However, it was the star’s ambitious plans for the big screen that caught everyone attention.
Drake mentioned how he was partnering up with the founder and CEO of Anonymous Content (Mr. Robot, True Detective) for a mysterious TV series.
While he didn’t reveal whether or not he would be acting in the future, Drake did reveal he plans “to take six months or a year to myself and do some great films. Music’s always there.”
