Demi Lovato’s bodyguard saved her life by performing first aid on the singer during her overdose, according to TMZ.
The bodyguard entered the house to Demi’s assistant screaming, “She’s dead, she’s dead!”
The bodyguard ran towards the 25-year-old and it looked like the singer was not breathing.
According to sources, there was blood and vomit on Demi’s pillow and it seemed that her airways were clogged.
The singer’s bodyguard propped her up with a pillow and performed first aid on her until the paramedics arrived.
When the paramedics came to the house they administered Narcan to reverse the effects of an opiod overdose.
Demi’s assistant, bodyguard and members of her team reportedly knew about the singer’s drug and drink use for several months previous to her overdose, according to TMZ.
The singer has agreed to go to rehab, following her release from hospital in the next few days.
