Demi Lovato’s alleged former drug dealer charged with heroin and ketamine possession

The news comes almost one year after Demi suffered a near-fatal drug overdose

Brandon Lewis has been charged with heroin and ketamine possession, almost one year after he supplied Demi Lovato with drugs that caused her near-fatal overdose.

According to TMZ, Brandon is facing three misdemeanour counts for shoplifting and possession of heroin and ketamine, after he was allegedly caught trying to steal from Macy’s.

The site has reported: “Brandon walked into a San Fernando Valley Macy’s and picked out a Michael Kors backpack, a pair of pants, a Puma hoodie and went into a fitting room.”

“We’re told Johnson walked out with just the backpack and tried to run after not paying for the items, but store security stopped him with $440 worth of items and the drugs.”

Last year, Brandon admitted that he supplied pop singer Demi Lovato with “after market pills”, which reportedly caused her near-fatal overdose.

Demi allegedly contacted Brandon via text message in the early hours of July 24, and he came to her house in the Hollywood Hills.

The pair allegedly smoked painkiller Oxycodone, but the batch was likely laced with fentanyl. Hours later, Demi was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in bed.

The songstress was revived with Narcan, and spent two weeks in hospital before completing a lengthy stint in rehab.
