Police had confirmed to TMZ that she was given Narcan – an emergency medication to reverse the effects of an overdose.

While TMZ claims her overdose was of heroin, PEOPLE’s source is saying this was not the drug in question.

In Demi’s latest song Sober, she admitted to falling off the wagon – after six years off alcohol and drugs.

“Mama, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore,” she sings.

“And daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. And I’m sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again / I wanna be a role model, but I’m only human.”

“I’m sorry that I’m here again, I promise I’ll get help,” the song continues.

“It wasn’t my intention, I’m sorry to myself.”
