Demi Lovato has been pictured out in public for the first time since her near-fatal overdose.
The singer is currently undergoing treatment at a rehab facility, but was allowed out on a day-pass to grab a coffee with a friend.
In pictures published by TMZ, the 26-year-old looked happy and healthy as she chatted to her friend.
The outlet recently reported that Demi has been spotted around the same town with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, who has been supporting her since she was hospitalised in July.
Just last week, Demi’s mother Dianna De La Garza admitted that her daughter was “close to death” in the days following her drug overdose.
According to TMZ, Demi suffered an overdose after taking “aftermarket” pills with her alleged drug dealer Brandon Johnson.Â
