The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been cancelled once again, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Country music festival Stagecoach has also been cancelled, under an order issued by the Riverside County health officer on Friday.
Dr. Cameron Kaiser said: “This order is intended to reduce the likelihood of exposure to COVID-19, thereby slowing the spread of COVID-19 in communities worldwide.”
“If COVID-19 were detected at these festivals, the scope and number of attendees and the nature of the venue would make it infeasable, if not impossible, to track those who may be placed at risk.”
Both festivals were set to return in April 2021, after they were postponed twice last year.

Last March, Coachella was postponed until early October, with headliners Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and Rage Against the Machine.
But in June, the festival postponed their return again until April 2021.
The news comes after Glastonbury cancelled the festival’s scheduled return this year due to the pandemic.
