Christina Ricci has been granted a restraining order against her husband James Heerdegen.
According to TMZ, the actress has accused her husband of assaulting her on multiple occasions – allegations he has firmly denied.
The 40-year-old was granted the restraining order after she submitted photos of bruising on her wrists and arms in her court filing.
During a hearing in Los Angeles on Wednesday, James was ordered to remain at least 100 yards away from Christina and their 6-year-old son Freddie, and to have no contact with them.
Christina, who filed for divorce last July, is also seeking a formal court order blocking James from returning to their home.

On top of that, Christina has asked the court to block him from releasing private audio and video of her, amid fears he may use it to “humiliate and embarrass” her.
James’ attorney Larry Bakman has told TMZ that he “unequivocally denies all allegations of abuse made by Ms. Ricci as having occurred in 2020”.
He also shared plans to file his own restraining order against Christina.
The couple tied the knot back in 2013, two years after they met on the set of her TV series ‘Pan Am’.
