Chrissy Metz has no time for body shamers.
The This Is Us star fired back on Monday after people criticised her look for the MTV Movie and TV Awards.
Chrissy had worn a red latex dress for the star-studded event, and social media trolls had some cruel words to say about.
But the actress brilliantly shut down the hate with a tweet on Sunday evening, writing, “For the record, I wear what I want, when I want. News flash it’s MY body. #thankstho.”
Chrissy and her co-star Milo Ventimiglia presented the Best Duo Award to Logan’s Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen during the evening, while This Is Us took home the prize for Best Tearjerker.
The 36-year-old has faced criticism over her weight in the past, and told Marie Claire in March: “Size doesn’t equate to beauty. I don’t understand why that’s a thing.
For the record, I wear what I want, when I want. News flash it's
MY body. #thankstho

“Well, I do, because the media has told us thin is beautiful. But is it? Because I think people are miserable not eating and smoking cigarettes.”
She added: “I do want to lose weight. But not because anyone is telling me to do it.”
Chrissy’s character on This Is Us is set to lose weight, but the actress clarified to People: “It wasn’t mandated in the contract … I was pitched that the trajectory of Kate is that she’s going to lose weight. That is who and what’s going on.”
