Chris Brown has reportedly denied that he owns a monkey, as he is facing prosecution.
Last year the singer shared a video of his three-year-old daughter playing with a capuchin monkey and the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife were notified.
As the singer did not have a permit for the monkey, the authorities took it from him.
While the 29-year-old is set to appear in court in February, he is denying the the monkey in the video is his, but instead is owned by a family member.

According to TMZ, the singer has claimed the video of his daughter and the monkey was shot in Las Vegas, not his L.A. home.
Chris has also alleged that his family member was in L.A. when the authorities came to take the animal, but that is lived in Las Vegas.
