Cardi B won’t perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show ‘unless they roll out the red carpet for her’

Cardi B reportedly won’t perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show “unless they roll out the red carpet for her.”

The rapper collaborated with Maroon 5, who are playing the controversial slot, for their track, ‘Girls Like You’, but it doesn’t look like she’ll join them on-stage for the famous show.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Travis Scott will reportedly perform at the Halftime Show, shortly after it was reported that Rihanna turned down the slot in support of NFL player, Colin Kaepernick.

It was previously alleged that Cardi wasn’t planning on taking part in the show in solidarity with Colin and earlier this year she told TMZ that if the NFL asked her to perform at the show, she would accept “when they hire Colin Kaepernick back”.

Page Six has since reported: “Cardi B is standing tough and holding out. She doesn’t want to do it unless they roll out the red carpet for her.”

A source told the publication that the mother-of-one “demanded” $1 million for her performance and a solo spot.
