Cardi B thanks Kylie Jenner for appearing in her new music video – after THOUSANDS sign petition to have her removed

A lot of people aren't happy about Kylie's cameo

Cardi B has publicly thanked Kylie Jenner for appearing in her new music video – after thousands signed a petition to have her removed.

The 22-year-old makes a cameo in the music video for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s new single WAP, which dropped on Friday morning.

A host of other stars also appeared in the video, including former Fifth Harmony star Normani, Spanish singer Rosalía, and rapper Rubi Rose.

After the video premiered, Cardi tweeted: “I wanna say thank you to every woman that was apart of my video! The fact that you made time in your schedules means alot to me!”

“It was so important to me to include different women, that are different races and come from different backgrounds but are so powerful and influential,” she added.

Cardi posted the tweet after fans criticised Kylie’s appearance in the video, as many were unhappy with a white woman pulling focus during an iconic collaboration between two black women.

One fan even launched a petition to have Kylie removed from the video, which has already reached over 45,000 signatures.

On the petition page, one person commented: “I was happily enjoying my daily cup of brown women until that culture stealing colonizer showed up and made me spill. Thankyou.”

Another wrote: “she is a culture vulture who doesn’t remember how her own complexion looks! down with the culture vultures!!!”
