Cardi B has been formally charged with assault, relating to a bust-up that took place at a strip club.

Last October, the rapper was arrested over her alleged involvement in a fight that took place at Angels NYC Strip Club on August 29.

The mother-of-one was accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders, sisters Jade and Baddie Gi.

The sisters have claimed that Cardi ordered her entourage to throw bottles and chairs at them at the club that night, because the rapper allegedly believed that Jade had slept with her husband, Offset.

On Friday, a jury indicted the rapper on 14 charges, including two counts of assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

Back in April, the 26-year-old rejected a plea deal from the Queens district attorney’s office, which would have granted her a conditional discharge in return for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanour.

After she rejected the deal, prosecutors investigated further, and took the case to a grand jury.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for June 25 in Queens Criminal Court, New York.
