Cardi B has admitted that she is “scared” as the longest government shutdown in the U.S continues.
After three weeks, the Trump administration has summoned thousands of federal employees to return to work without pay – and Cardi has expressed her thoughts on the matter.
The rapper defended Obama’s shutdown of the government, as she said that it was for healthcare and this time it’s different.
She said: “Now I know a lot of y’all don’t care because y’all don’t work for the government or y’all probably don’t even have a job but this s**t is really f**k serious, bro.”
“This s**tis crazy. Our country is in a hell hole right now all for a f******g wall and we really need to take this seriously.”
The 26-year-old urged her followers to do something: “I feel like we need to take some action. I don’t know what type of action, b***h, cause this is not what I do, but b***h I’m scared.”
The rapper finished her video with: “This is crazy and I really feel bad for these people who need to go to f*****g work to not get motherf*****g paid.”
