Brody Jenner has congratulated his ex Kaitlynn Carter on the birth of her first child.
The reality star and her boyfriend Kristopher Brock welcomed a son named Rowan on September 30, and announced the news via Instagram on Wednesday.
In the comment section, Brody wrote: “Congrats Kait! You are gonna be the best mom!”

Brody’s mother Linda Thompson also congratulated Kaitlynn in the comment section.
She wrote: “Motherhood looks beautiful on you! And that baby! So excited to meet him… I love the name Rowan Carter Brock! He already has enviable hair! Much love!”
Brody and Kaitlynn split in 2019, but have remained on good terms ever since.
However earlier this year, the 38-year-old admitted he was “hurt” over the way he found out about her pregnancy.
During an episode of The Hills: New Beginnings, Kaitlynn told Brody that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend Kristopher.
But before their conversation, Brody told his co-stars that he already found out about Kaitlynn’s pregnancy through other people.
During a confessional, Brody said: “Of course it’s hurtful to see all of these other people that seem to know that she’s pregnant and not me.”
“A baby was such a big part of our relationship and talk in our relationship. I don’t need to be the first one to know but I think I should be in the top 10.”

Elsewhere in the episode, the mum-to-be explained to her co-stars why she was hesitant to tell Brody.
“It’s just a big thing to share with somebody,” she said.
“It feels like one final nail in the coffin.”
