Brad Pitt and Angelina have been working out the details of their divorce since they announced their split in 2016.
The couple share children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne together, and many of their divorce disagreements have reportedly revolved round the custody of their family.
However, Angelina has conceded to allow Brad custody of their children this summer, while she focuses on working on a new film.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, this is the longest amount of time he’ll have spent with them since the couple ended their relationship.
A source told the paper: “Angelina is going to be spending a lot of the summer filming Those Who Wish Me Dead, so she reached out to Brad and offered him the chance to look after the children.”
“This is a massive step for them and the children, who have only had limited time with Brad since the break-up.”
“It feels like a really positive move all round and Brad is over the moon.”
In preparation for the summer, Brad has invited his parents to stay so that they can also have quality time with their grandchildren.
“He’s invited his parents, Jane and William, to stay with them at his mansion in LA so they can have some proper family time together,” the source divulged.
Angelina and Brad while filming Mr And Mrs Smith in 2004. They wed a decade later in 2014, before calling time on their relationship two years later.
