Blue Ivy bid $19,000 on art over the weekend

She's only six-years-old!

Blue Ivy stole the show over the weekend while attending the Wearable Art Gala with her mum and dad, Beyonce and Jay Z.

The event was hosted by Beyonce’s parents Tina Knowles Lawson and Richard Lawson in Los Angeles.

Beyonce and Blue Ivy showed up to the event in matching head-to-toe gold ensembles, and the singer was being honoured with the 2018 Waco Theatre Humanitarian award and received a personalised video message from former First Lady Michelle Obama.

However, the spotlight quickly shifted from Queen Bey to Blue Ivy when the live auction began, as Blue reportedly bid not once but twice on a painting of a young Sidney Poitier.

Raising her bid from $17,000 to $19,000, Blue’s famous father, Jay Z, was finally able to snatch the paddle out of her hand.

Despite Jay Z costing Blue Ivy the winning bid on the Sidney Poitier painting, she was able to snag the winning bid for the following piece, which was a sculpture of old law and medical books.

Blue Ivy’s winning bid came in at a cool $10,000 for the piece.
