Other nominees for the award included Lizzo with her track Juice, and Khalid’s hit Talk.

The Ashford & Simpson award was just one of two in which she was nominated for.

Brown Skin Girl was also nominated for Best Collaboration, which lost out to Chris Brown’s ‘No Guidance’ featuring Drake.

It’s not the primary school kid’s first musical collaboration with her mother.

Back in 2013 when she was just 1, Blue Ivy featured on Beyoncé’s self-titled album on the track Blue.

Beyoncé was also nominated for Song Of The Year, Best R&B Artist, Video of The Year and Best Collaboration.
