Beyoncé has congratulated her pal Serena Williams, after she welcomed her first child earlier this week.
The famous tennis player and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian welcomed a baby girl, after Serena was admitted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Wednesday.
On Friday, Serena’s coach Patrick Mouratoglou confirmed the news on Twitter, and plenty of her a-list pals have been sharing their congratulations ever since.
Taking to Instagram, Beyoncé posted a gorgeous photo of Serena when she was pregnant, which read, “Congratulations Serena!”
The 35-year-old, who won her 23rd grand slam singles title at the Australian Open back in January while she was two months pregnant, has also received well wishes from the tennis community.
Rafael Nadal wrote, “Congrats Serena!!! So much joy for you!!!”, while Boris Becker said, “@serenawilliams had baby girl !!! Congrats from NYC.”
Serena’s model pal Karlie Kloss also wrote, “Congratulations @SerenaWilliams and @alexisohanian on your beautiful baby girl! …Auntie Karlie is ready to babysit.”
