Barack Obama may have just dropped a bombshell about Beyoncé’s twins – which she is rumoured to have welcomed over the past couple of days.
The former President of the United States delivered a video message to the singer’s husband Jay Z as he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and it seems he accidentally revealed the sex of the two babies.
“Jay and I are also fools for our daughters,” Obama said in the clip. “Although, he’s going to have me beat once those twins show up.”
As Obama has two daughters, Malia and Sasha, and Jay Z and Beyoncé currently have one daughter, Blue Ivy, it seems he is suggesting that the pop star is expecting two girls.
Jay Z skipped the big event on Thursday, with Jon Platt telling the audience the rapper is “really sorry he can’t be here”, adding fuel to speculation that his wife has already given birth.
It comes after Beyoncé was allegedly spotted at a Los Angeles hospital earlier this week, and her sister Solange Knowles was seen arriving to the same medical facility on Thursday.
Jay Z was also seen leaving their Beverly Hills mansion on Tuesday, apparently heading towards the hospital, and a source told HollywoodLife that security were seen transporting two baby seats from the home.
The happy couple, whose daughter Blue is five years old, married in 2008 and announced in February that they are expecting twins.
