Ariana Grande is slowly returning to social media, following the news of Mac Miller’s untimely death.

The singer was left distraught by the news that her ex-boyfriend, who she dated for two years, died due to a suspected drug overdose last week.

The pop star remained silent on social media in the days following his passing, however, after posting a touching tribute to Mac on Friday – Ariana has been posting on her Instagram Story, and even shared that she was listening to Mac’s music.

It’s believed Ariana was laying low at her apartment in NYC over the past week, but it looks like she’s finally made it out into the world as she posted snaps of her out on a walk with her fiancé Pete Davidson.

The 25-year-old shared photos of the sun setting in New York, and a photo of street art which read, “Protect yo heart.”

It also looks like the brunette beauty has gotten a new pet – as she shared photos and videos of her cuddling up to a little micro pig in bed.

Ariana dated Mac for two years, before splitting in May earlier this year.

Following their split, Ariana quickly moved on with SNL comedian Pete Davidson, who she became engaged to after just a few weeks of dating.

Since the news of Mac Miller’s death broke, the late rapper’s pals have revealed how Ariana desperately tried to help Mac stay sober.

And in her heartbreaking statement following the news of his death, Ariana confessed, “I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to.”
