Ariana Grande remembers Manchester Arena attack on second anniversary

Ariana Grande has marked the second anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack, by sharing a bee emoji on her Instagram Story.

On May 22, 2017, a suicide bomber detonated a bomb as people were exiting Ariana’s concert at the Manchester Arena.

22 people lost their lives, including young children, and hundreds were injured.

Taking to her Instagram Story today, Ariana simply shared an emoji of a bee, which is a symbol of the city.

Ariana’s mother Joan also paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack on Twitter.

She wrote: “All my love Manchester, today and everyday… you are with me always, in my heart and in my mind.”

“To ALL of you who have suffered and still suffer from tremendous loss, trauma or devastating injury.. I love you, I send you a warm hug, today and forever. #OneLove.”

After the attack claimed the lives of 22 people back in 2017, Ariana returned to the city of Manchester just a few weeks later to host a benefit concert.

Huge stars like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Coldplay performed at the concert, and they raised millions for the victims and their families.
