Ariana Grande has released a brand new heartbreaking track – which references Pete Davidson and Mac Miller.
The singer has dropped her new album thank u, next – and fans believe her track Ghostin as all about still being in love with Mac Miller, while she was engaged to Pete Davidson.
Last month, before the song was released, she had posted on Twitter: “[it’s about] feeling badly for the person you’re with bc [because] you love somebody else.”
“feeling badly bc he can tell he can’t compare…. and how i should be ghosting him.”
Fans believe the song is in reference to her time with Pete Davidson in the aftermath of Mac Miller’s death.
Grande and Miller had been a long-term item but broke up in May 2018.
Mac died in September and then Pete and Ariana split a few weeks later.
Lyrics include: “I know that it breaks your heart when I cry again
Over him” and “Look at the cards that we’ve been dealt. If you were anybody else. Probably wouldn’t last a day.”
