Ariana Grande has released a heart breaking statement on Mac Miller’s death.
The pair dated for over two years and were said to be besotted with each other, before splitting back in April.
Just weeks later Ariana fell for SNL star Pete Davidson, and now the couple are engaged.
Mac, 26, seemingly moved on with two other women but fell into more issues with addiction, something he was always open about.
After the rapper was found dead in his LA home from an apparent drug overdose, Ariana posted a black and white photo of the rapper. And now Ariana has posted a video of Mac, alongside a touching statement.
“i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will,” she wrote.
“i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.
“i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.”
