Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson reportedly split over his lack of support, following the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller last month.
The news of their split hit headlines last night, however, it turns out the pair actually split over a week ago – and Ariana even supported Pete at Saturday Night Live over the weekend to keep their split under wraps.
A source close to the star told the Sun Online: “Ariana dumped Pete. They’d been rowing for two weeks about Pete’s lack of support after Mac’s death.”
“Ariana has been devastated and Pete couldn’t handle it. She realised she needs a grown-up who can support her and that’s not him.
“They secretly split a week ago and she’s already moved out of the apartment,” the source added.
Ariana has already moved out of the apartment she shares with Pete in NYC.
On September 7, the 25-year-old was rocked by the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, who she dated for two years.
Following the news of his death, Ariana has been laying low, and pulled out of several scheduled performances – including SNL, and a cancer benefit concert over the weekend.
