“I am already a changed person. I am busting with joy for the new energy I have to be with my son,” the comedian added.

“And anyone wondering if this is connected to my difficult pregnancy and hyperemesis I say f*** yes! I can’t answer medically because there is no research on this s*** because they only happen TO WOMEN and there is no time to study them because all resources need to be funneled into researching ERECTILE DISFUNCTION.”

“THERE IS BARELY ANY RESEARCH ON ENDOMETRIOSIS WHICH OVER 10 percent of women have. ALL FUNDING SEEMS TO GO TO DICKMEREGENCIES.”

Amy and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their son Gene in February 2019 with the help of vitro fertilisation, following the couple’s fertility issues.

Speaking on Sunday Today with Willie Geist last year, the New York native revealed she was considering surrogacy if she and Chris decide to expand their family.

She said: “We did IVF and IVF was really tough on me. I don’t think I could ever do IVF again. I decided that I can’t be pregnant ever again. We thought about a surrogate, but I think we’re going to hold off for right now.”

Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue, like the lining of the womb, starts to grow in other places – such as the ovaries, the lining of the stomach and fallopian tubes – causing pain.
