Addison Rae pulls out of major festival after backlash

Addison Rae has pulled out of performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The TikTok star was set to take to the stage in Las Vegas this weekend for her first ever festival, following the release of her debut single ‘Obsessed’.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, the 20-year-old wrote: “hi y’all! after a lot of thinking I’ve decided that it’s best to not perform at iheart.”

“I want to give my fans 110% and I don’t feel like I’m ready to do that. thank you for your understanding and support. love y’all,” she added.

This year’s iHeartMusic festival will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and features a star-studded line-up.

Billie Eilish, Cheap Trick, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Florida Georgia Line, Journey, Khalid, Lil Baby, Maroon 5, Nelly, Sam Hunt, Weezer are all set to take to the stage over the two-day event.

DaBaby, Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid LAROI, Saweetie, All Time Low, 24kGoldn, Russell Dickerson, Yungblud, Gabby Barrett, Tate McRae and Conan Gray have also been confirmed for the festival.

The concert takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
