The former pop singer sparked concern when he started showing off his weapons on social media

Aaron Carter has revealed that he’s sold all of his firearms, amid ongoing concerns for his mental health.

After his brother Nick and his sister Angel recently obtained restraining orders against him, the 31-year-old sparked concern over the way he was behaving online.

The former pop singer made some shocking claims about his family members, and showed off his extensive stash of weapons on Instagram Live.

TMZ have since reported that Aaron has now sold all of his guns, and is “weening himself off Xanax”.

It’s believed Aaron had owned two assault rifles, a pistol and a shotgun, before he sold them.

The news comes after Aaron’s twin sister was granted a restraining order against him, just days after their older brother Nick did the same thing.

Angel Conrad was granted the order in Los Angeles on Friday, after Aaron allegedly said, “I have people that would come and harm you,” during a FaceTime conversation with her.

As a result, Aaron has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Angel, her husband, and their daughter.

He was also told that he cannot share any social media posts about his twin sister that include threats or brandishing of weapons.

In a statement posted on Twitter, Angel said: “Today I filed a protective order with my brother Nick in Los Angeles. Following a recent relapse, Aaron confessed to me he had violent thoughts towards babies and our family members.”

“This, combined with his recent access to assault rifles, has made us afraid for our safety. It is clear to those of us that love him that Aaron is suffering from a mental health crisis.”

“Unfortunately this has led to his fabricating stories in order to divert attention away from the truth. We have been working closely with law enforcement who share our concern surrounding his current mental state.”

She added: “We want our brother Aaron, whom we love very much, to get the help he so desperately needs but we have a baby girl and based on the alarming events that Aaron has threatened to carry out, we are compelled to take action to protect our family.”
