A second man has been arrested in connection to the death of Mac Miller.
The rapper died following an overdose when he allegedly took drugs laced with fentanyl.
In a statement issued by Lake Havasu City Police Department, it was announced that a second suspect, Ryan Reavis, has been arrested and charged.
“The investigation, led by the DEA, is an active case involving the death of music artist Malcolm McCormick, also known as “Mac Miller” who had succumbed to an overdose in the Los Angeles area in 2018,” the statement said.
When detectives searched the suspects home they found “a physician’s prescription pad, prescription-only pills, a usable amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.”
They also recovered a 9mm pistol, two shotguns and “large amounts of ammunition.”
When the first suspect was arrested, Miller’s father expressed his joy by saying: “So they finally caught the motherf**ker that sold him the drugs that killed him,”
“And we find some comfort in that. And many of us were young, including me, experimented with drugs. But it’s a different f**king world out there, and all it takes is a stone, a little tiny stone of fentanyl and cocaine, and you’re dead.”
