The 7 Things We’re Going To Miss Most About Pretty Little Liars

After seven seasons and seven years on the air, we’re finally saying goodbye to Pretty Little Liars.

The teen drama has set tongues wagging throughout the course of the show, and it’s been hard to keep up with all the murders and that mysteries Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have been caught up in.

As we prepare to say one last farewell to Rosewood ahead of the series finale episode, we’ve rounded up the seven things we’re going to miss most about the show.

The Shocking Twists

Pretty Little Liars has been full of so many twists and turns over the years it has quite frankly been hard to keep up.

But we definitely will miss having our jaws hit the floor at the end of each episode, and being unable to wait a whole week to watch the next one.

Creator I. Marlene King has promised all of our questions will be answered tonight, which means a whole lot of mysteries are about to be explained.

Watching an inspiring LGBT character on a teen drama

Even if you’re not a fan of the series, you still have to tip your hat to Shay Mitchell, who portrays Emily Fields.

Emily’s coming out story – particularly on a primetime teen drama – has been inspirational for a lot of young viewers, who have credited the show with helping them to discuss their sexuality with their own friends and family.

It looks like the character is finally about to get her happy ending with Alison (Sasha Pieterse), which will certainly make Emison fans happy.

Hanna’s hilarious one-liners

Amid all the drama, Ashley Benson’s character Hanna Marin has provided some much needed comic relief.

Hanna has been through some of the worst scenarios of any character in the show, but she hasn’t lost her sense of humour along the way.

In fact, her one liners are widely considered to be one of the best things about Pretty Little Liars.

The relationship goals

Haleb, Spoby, Ezria and Emison.

Whichever one you “ship” the most, the romances in the series have never failed to make us swoon.

While the fate of Spencer and Toby remains to be seen, Hanna and Caleb finally got their happy ending and Aria and Ezra’s wedding is due to feature in the series finale.

The friendship between the girls

It’s true that Pretty Little Liars is about a group of girls who are stalked, blackmailed and tortured by a mysterious unknown figure.

But it’s also about the importance of friendship – especially during the tough times.

No matter what they have been through, the characters have always stuck together in the end, and shown just how powerful girl power can be.

Everything about Mona

Mona Vanderwaal is the show’s fan favourite character – and it’s a very well-deserved title.

Janel Parrish has brought sass, style, substance and smarts to the screen as this complex character who has been both a heroine and a villainess.

We never quite know whether to trust Mona or not, and that’s half of the fun.

Wondering who AD is

The person who has been making the Liars’ lives a misery is about to be unveiled, and everyone has their own theories about who it could be.

Is it someone we’ve never met before? Is it someone the girls have trusted along? And could Spencer really have an evil twin?

After the global disappointment that came after it was confirmed that CeCe Drake (aka Charlotte) was A, fans are crossing their fingers that the AD reveal will be much more of a shock.
