REVIEWED: Body Shop Honey Bronze highlighting dome

Although we’re loving the sunshine in Goss HQ, our make-up is not and after a number of days of dealing with the heat and a rather unfortunate case of shiny face, I started scouring the shelves for the perfect summer make-up.

Looking for a lightweight highlighter and blusher, I found my saviour in The Body Shop Honey Bronze highlighting dome range.

Coming in three different shades, one, two or three, these highlighters are the perfect accomplice for hot summer days whilst giving you a beautiful beachy glow.

Lightweight: The Body Shop highlighter is lightweight perfect for holidays | SORCHA CRILLY

Although the product seems firm at first, once it’s applied to the skin the cream becomes really soft to use.

The texture is so creamy and silky soft to touch that it blends in easily to the skin without any streaks or clumps.

Whether you want a subtle look or a more dramatic look you can simply build the intensity of the colour to suit your mood.

If you’re worried about the application, there is no need to be as all I had to do was open the cap and glide the dome across my cheeks.

There wasn’t much that I didn’t like about the product however if glitter is not your thing, then maybe avoid this.

Although there’s not much I could fault the product on, you do have to reapply it every few hours.

However, if you’re looking for lightweight alternative to your powder blushers or bronzer, The Body Shops Honey Bronze Highlighters range is the perfect summer contour and blusher.

A fan of shimmer in summer and the honey smell, I give this 4 out of 5.
