Katy Perry, the current face of CoverGirl, announced him as the beauty mammoth’s first “cover boy” in an Instagram post.
James Charles has gained a huge following for himself through the makeup looks he shares on social media.
The company released a statement about embracing individuality.
“All of our CoverGirls are role models and boundary-breakers, fearlessly expressing themselves, standing up for what they believe, and redefining what it means to be beautiful,” they stated.
