This week for my Goss Lust List, I’m listing some of my fave holiday beauty essentials.
Back in April, I was lucky enough to head off to Lanzarote for a week in the sun with my mum, and a few items I brought with me came in particularly handy.
From SPF to my fave beauty bits, here’s what I was loving…
Avène B-Protect SPF 50+ – €15.45
I’m so happy I brought this amazing face SPF from Avène on holidays.
The Avène Very High Protection B-Protect SPF 50+ provides maximum sun protection for sensitive and very fair skin types, filtering UVA and UVB rays.
I really liked it’s subtly tinted texture, which transforms and releases micro encapsulated pigments for a radiant and bright complexion, leaving a flawless, nude-skin finish without stickiness or shine.
Acting as an SPF, pollution barrier and one step BB cream – this was perfect for sunny days by the pool.
You can pick it up here.
Filorga ‘UV-Bronze’ Nutri-Soothing Tan Booster After-Sun Gel – €32.00
Filorga is a new brand on my radar, and it’s fast becoming one of my faves.
The Filorga UV-Bronze Nutri-Soothing Tan Booster After-Sun is a triple-action gel that melts into an oil to comfort and enhance the skin after sun exposure.
As well as being intensely hydrating, it has an immediate soothing effect on the skin, and the Tan-Activator complex also boosts, enhances and prolongs the tan without further UV exposure.
My favourite part about this product is that the gel leaves a very subtle shimmer on the skin, giving you a little extra glow.
You can purchase it here.
My Clarins Re-Charge Relaxing Sleep Mask – €27.00
On the topic of skincare, I have to tell you about this amazing new face mask I’ve discovered.
The My Clarins ‘Re-Charge’ overnight hydrating face mask is infused with hydrating coconut water and detoxifying Alpenrose extract, and has been described as “8 hours’ sleep in a jar”.
I found this to be such a lifesaver on holidays, especially after your skin has been in the sun all day.
Pop it on before bed, and wake up with your skin feeling healthy and hydrated.
You can pick it up from Boots right here.
Catrice Cosmetics 1 Minute Face Perfector
Now that we’ve got the skincare out of the way – let’s talk makeup.
My week in the sun was pretty chill so I wasn’t going full on with my makeup at all really, so the Catrice Cosmetics 1 Minute Face Perfector came in super handy.
It has a mousse texture, which adapts to any skin tone, and it mattifies and makes pores and skin irregularities disappear.
I found this perfect for doing a ‘no makeup’ makeup look, and just used a little concealer to add some more coverage to any problems areas.
This is amazing for those who don’t fancy wearing makeup, but are a little too self conscious to go without anything.
You can get it here for just €6.80.
CHEEKLEADERS Pink Squad Blush, Bronze & Highlight Palette – €65.00
It’s always a struggle to pack your makeup bag when travelling, but this product will make things a lot easier for you.
This palette has everything you need for Blush, Bronze and Highlight – including Benefit’s Tickle golden pink super-silky highlighter, their iconic Hoola matte bronzer, their bestselling Dandelion baby-pink powder and more.
You can buy it here for €65.
