Winning Streak has trounced rival game show The Million Euro Challenge in the TV ratings.
The long running series returned to screens on Saturday night with Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy back as hosts.
This summer’s debut episode of the game show attracted an impressive audience of 312,700 viewers.

Meanwhile, Nicky Byrne’s The Million Euro Challenge only managed to rake in 165,000 viewers on its second last episode meaning Winning Streak attracted almost 150,000 more viewers.
The news will no doubt come as a blow to TV bosses who brought in The Million Euro Challenge to replace the longer-running show in January.
“Winning Streak figures are up considerably on season average for Million Euro Challenge and also the season average for The Big Money Game in 2013,” a spokeswoman said.
