One Direction have thanked fans in an emotional message following their final performance on the X Factor before their impending hiatus.
Taking to Twitter, the boys posted the message in which Mullingar man Niall looked suave in a navy suit and his new must-have accessory, a pair of glasses.
Niall and the boys gave a “massive” thank you to their “dedicated fans” and assured us that this is just the “last part of our first chapter.”

The boyband went out with a bang on the X Factor stage, performing two singles Infinity and History from their latest album Made In The AM and finished off their performance with a heart-warming group hug.
The final show was a star-studded affair with performances from Little Mix, Fleur East, Leona Lewis and Coldplay, as well as global superstar Adele.
However, these were not the only stars in attendance as US pop star, and Niall Horan’s rumoured love interest, Selena Gomez was spotted backstage with some of Niall’s close pals from Mullingar.
