U2 and One Direction have been listed as the world’s best paid musicians in a new report.
Bono, The Edge and Adam Clayton have been named as one of the top earners in the music industry in the last year, alongside Mullingar native Niall Horan.
International superstar Taylor Swift topped the list earning $73.5 million last year thanks to her tour, record sales, streaming deals and publishing royalties.

But in a cool fifth place Niall and his band mates earned $24.2 million in the last year. Sales gave them the largest revenue with touring and streaming pushing up their revenue.
And U2 were named in 8th place, making $21.8 million last year, with most revenue coming from Innocence + Experience Tour.
The tour alone brought in $20.6 million for the band.
Other people on the rich list included Elton John, Madonna and Ed Sheeran.
