Trouble: Could this be bad news for The Voice of Ireland?

Auditions are already taking place from next Wednesday, with an open audition being held at the International Bar on Dublin’s Wicklow Street.

Those that are unable to attend open auditions can still apply for the competition on ITV’s website.

Producers are said to be looking for all musical genres, including groups – but entrants must be 16-years-old by October.

Auditions: The Voice UK is coming to Ireland

The Voice of Ireland are adamant that the intrusion of the show’s UK version won’t affect them, despite speculation that the Irish Voice is set to be replaced by Ireland’s Got Talent next year.

“They’ve done it before, it doesn’t bother us,” a spokesperson said.

The news comes after it was revealed that The X Factor will be coming to the 3Arena in Dublin for auditions on April 24.
