However when a fellow panellist asked if his character was truly bad – the Dubliner quipped yes.
“He’s British, so yeah,” he joked.
Although Domhnall didn’t divulge too much on his character he did give fans one spoiler – revealing the name of the base he’s in command of.
“I met with J.J. [Abrams] and Mr Lawrence Kasdan and they told me the story and who the guy was and that he was in charge of people on a Star Killer base sort of thing,” he said.

“Uh-oh, hang on is that alright?”
Looking at J.J. Abrams after his film faux-pas, the acclaimed director explained the About Time actor’s unexpected spoiler.
“The name of the base of the first order is in honour of the original last name of Luke Skywalker and is Star Killer base – spoiled by Domhnall Gleeson,” he laughed.
The news of the Ex-Machina star’s role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens has ended months of speculation after it was rumoured that he would play a young Luke Sykwalker in the film.
